The Theatre of Phantom
Sounds
composed and directed by James Drew with duo-pianists James Drew and Mary Gae George a cast of Art Monkeys and the
Mysterious Invisible Orchestra

This Theatre has been
conceived for elementary school children, and is performed by
two pianists (one of whom is also the Mysterious Keeper of
the Sounds) and a cast of Art Monkeys led by the legendary
Guido San Simian.
The Theatre's entire
"cast" introduces the children to the brilliant world
of sound, as well as to concepts of theatre, space, and elementary
criticism -- all with a great deal of humor.
Because the Theatre
is interactive the improvisation becomes an expansive collaboration
between mysterious cast and traditionally silly young audience.
