MARY GAE GEORGE was invited to launch the 2002-2003 programs for the Sandy chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association. Her topic, "Something to Celebrate:  We Are the Keepers of the Keys" balanced our responsibilities as music educators with the rewards of working with and encouraging young people to fulfill their expectations and their talents. Realizing that this significant contribution is building audiences in communities all across the nation brought the large, enthusiastic audience to its feet at the end of the presentation.
