The keyboard master works require a special kind of preparation. Realizing this, Mary Gae George and the late Jon George combined their broad experience in composition, writing, performing, and teaching in order to create a piano course that upholds the highest standards of technic, musicianship, and aesthetics.

A brief description of each series follows:

WORKBOOKSeries. Projects in analysis, transposition, keyboard skills, and memorization, as well as attractive pieces for sight playing, makes this series both useful and rewarding for the student.
MUSICIANSHIP Series. In each Lesson, the basic elements of musicianship (theory, coordinated with drills in rhythm, technic, and ear training) are presented and then applied and reviewed in a section of short pieces.
REPERTOIRESeries. Elements taught in the Musicianship Lessons are used in the Repertoire pieces in a manner both challenging and satisfying to the student.
ENSEMBLE Series. These duets give the student the valuable experience of studying and performing with another pianist.
RECORDED Series. The student needs daily reinforcement both in the artistic potential of the pieces and in the expressive possibilities of the piano. The recorded series accomplishes this while ensuring well-prepared lessons.
